We've owned three of them so far and the old crummy ones from Craigslist have lasted the longest. The shiny newer Disney Princess one (also bought on Craigslist) fell apart within a few months - handles just weren't strong enough. Harder plastic, easier to snap and break on a quick turn. They say you do not select your cat, they select you, and 13 years ago we opened the front door and found this tiny kitten curled up on our door mat. One week earlier we put my chilldhood cat to sleep who had developed cancer. We are convinced it was my cats second life.
