Luau!
We had the opportunity to go to a huge Luau at the Kauai Hyatt two nights ago. It was so much fun. The Hyatt as I noted earlier is simply gorgeous and the setting for the luau itself overlooked the beach. It started just at sunset.

After dinner they had a great Hula show. The kids were absolutely enthralled with the dancing.
The show lasted an hour but you would never have known it went by so quickly. Amy and Evan stood at the edge of the show just glued to the performance. They had a time for Keike’s (children) to come ups and do the Hula and Amy was brave enough to participate. Kyle was a little shy about it all and refused to go up. The fire dancer was hysterical. I don’t know how authentic his performance was but he got a ton of laughs for his humor. At the end Amy was so excited to get her picture taken with the Hawaiian “princesses”
